Bronson York - Founder/Artistic Director

Bronson York, and Oregon born Californian, has been studying bassoon for six years, five of those year under the instruction of Dr. Steve Vacchi. After graduating from the University of Oregon with a Bachelors in music, Bronson started his Master's of music in 2017.

Bronson founded the Pacific Artists Collective in March of 2017 to offer the students of the University of Oregon an opportunity to create music in an entirely student run ensemble. 


Morgan Bates - Personnel Manager

Morgan is a trumpeter and educator currently pursuing her Master of Music degree in performance from the University of Oregon. She is the Graduate Teaching Fellow for the UO Trumpet Studio, a member of the Oregon Brass Quintet, and a fellow with Orchestra NEXT. Morgan is a Pennsylvania transplant with a BA in Music Performance from Dickinson College, where she was a two-time winner of the Dickinson College Concerto Competition, principal orchestral and lead jazz trumpeter, and regular chamber music collaborator. She spends her summers at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, serving as the camp’s staff principal trumpet for the past three seasons.


Darlene Mueller - Production Manager

Darlene Mueller is the production manager and principal clarinetist of the Pacific Artists Collective. She moved to Eugene, OR from Las Cruces, NM with her two cats, Sasha and Jasper, in September of 2017. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Music Performance under the tutelage of Dr. Wonkak Kim. Since arriving, she has held principal chairs in both the Oregon Wind Ensemble and the University of Oregon Symphony Orchestra, performed in the Oregon Jazz Lab as Tenor II, and given multiple outreach concerts as a member of the resident graduate woodwind quintet.


Joseph Vranas - Conductor

Joseph Vranas is an award-winning composer of concert and film music, having works performed across the United States, Venezuela, and France. Vranas' multimedia compositions have premiered on screen at the Cannes Film Festival and his music has been recognized through local competitions for film scoring, concert, and theatre music in cities such as Houston and Los Angeles.
